TAIWAY
has surveyed thoroughly our supply chain to ban the use of any such
conflict minerals originate and finance armed groups in the Democratic
Republic of the Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries. The conflict
minerals are tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold (also known as 3TG).
TAIWAY uses The Conflict Minerals Reporting Template which is standardized reporting template developed by the Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative that facilitates the transfer of information through the supply chain regarding mineral country of origin and smelters and refiners being utilized.
TAIWAY sends the CMRT to our suppliers on an annual basis and asks them to provide information regarding the smelters/refineries in their supply chains. We expect all suppliers to source materials only from socially responsible providers.
